Merry Christmas

This is just about what it looks like here in new england these days! This picture is from last year, outside of my dining room window. A beautiful and grand blue spruce weathers each winter and one spring was home to a nest with baby robins. I love to sit and watch the seasons change thru that window. Christmas is almost here and for us still so much to be done! Housecleaning for a holiday party where we will enjoy the company of friends to just pass a little joy around! I can hardly wait! I know that all too soon 2008 will be a thing of the past as we ring in 2009, I can only hope you are all well, and send to you blessings of a wonderful and prosperous new year! Myself I hope to better attend to this and my selling blog and ebay.....and better use every minute! I am working out all the details now! stay tuned!
Blessings and Merry Christmas!

autumn in new england

Here is a picture of the village that I live in it all is Autumn splendor! New England certainly is a
a special place to live especially in the fall! But with fall also comes school again, and I have lost my babies back to the school for 6 hours a day! This year little faith gets to go to kindergarten, and she is soo excited. I have never been more lonely, or felt more alone, but I knew this day would come, and so with a heavy heart but smiles and hugs for her, I send her on her way!
I miss them soo much when they are not here, and I realize that the time is ticking away to enjoy them as children, for all to soon will they be grown! Being a mother truly is bittersweet! Faith and Seth, Zack and Gabby too, I love you more than words can say! Know that I look forward each and every school day to the time when you will be back home! and my heart will be happy again!
so happy school days!

for family harmony

well, it has come to my attention that in the interest of family harmony, and so I don't find any dead little brother and sister bodies, I will have to sacrifice my studio/workroom/shop room to my oldest son for a bedroom of his own. It is sad for me, but exciting for him.....and in my heart my kids come first so, now I get to move all my furnishings and tables back up a flight of 14 stairs. Doesn't that sound fun. So, I am a little late on my give away, but it will be ready next week!
Until then, keep creating! Oh, and cheer for Zack's ball team, tomorrow starts our last tournament. Let's Go Green!

Tuesday, June 17, 2008

well, I can believe how quickly time is flying these days! The kids are almost done with school, and getting wiggly!! I too, am getting anxious for them to be done! it will be nice to be able to sleep in after late nights! Let's see, what else is going on around here......the regular baseball season is winding down, and the All-Star season will be under way. I am expecting my oldest some to be nominated for the All-star team. It is his last year in little league, and he has been on the All-Star team every year he has been eligible. Not having been an athelete growning up, Zack has been exciting to watch!

Here is a picture of my youngest child, Faith in the catcher's gear for her t-ball team at last weekend's game!

Just a tiny little girl, but all about the game! It is so fun to have kids! I can't imagine life without them! Got a lot of new things listed on ebay this week, if you have a minute check them out! http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZpineQ2ahollowQ2aprimsQQfrppZ50QQfsopZ32QQfsooZ2QQrdZ0

where did I go?

Howdy all!

sorry I have been so absent, but things here are moving at lightening speed! Baseball season is upon us here, and that has eaten up a lot of my "free" time! Orders to fill, creations to finish, so much to do.

This is one of the items that has kept me busy! A barn raising log cabin I call Grandma's treasure. Just as my Grandmother began to become ill she traveled to my house and fell in love with a large, twin size barn raising log cabin that I made and use as a table cloth. She talked about it for the whole time she was there, and continued to talk about it for several days. I immediately went to work and made her one of her own. As her health declined, she took her quilt everywhere with her even to the hospital. When the good Lord decided that it was her time to go home, the decision was made to tuck her into her eternal rest with her beloved throw! So this quilt for sure will be one creation that although I have recreated it a few times, will always be special to me! Stay tuned for a big announcement coming next week!

Moving right along

Well things are moving right along here! I have been so busy with orders, and quilts, and finally starting to pull together the long awaited shop room! A room in my house that will be open to the public on certain dates to sell my creations, and double as my studio! I am so excited, but it is a lot of work! the room itself has been the Junk room, where everything else that did not have a home has been thrown for YEARS! so here I am cleaning and cleaning and cleaning! My husband is even buying great display furniture already!! yikes, I guess I better get moving. Hopefully pictures will be coming soon!
have a great day!
